Sat met up w 03s23 ppl…
Has been a super long time since we last met…
Had shokudo for lunch…
It was v much mache style except all the food were jap…
Had e omu rice!
V flavour-ful n v nice!!
After class gathering met up w him to walk walk shop shop… =)

Sun met up w pharm gals for k session at katong… =)
We were hysterically laughing at the olden mtvs…

Den at nite din manage to go for cot dinner cos was super tired…

He got gastric flu… (actually wat is gastric flu ar…)
But he din wan me to ma fan… so oki lo..

cos his headaches get worse everytime he sees me.. =(

So we went for a movie…

His frens all v funnie one lo…

In e end he also headache… =( cos he meet me…

Wed he rest at home lo…
Cos scared his condition gets worsened…
So again I visited him…

Saved me a trip to the hospital to submit my timesheet.. hee..
In e end it turns out I had dinner w him n his sis at kfc..

e pay given to farmers currently is definitely below expectations...
it's no wonder there r less n less farmers getting registered n staying on in the field...

just hope someone somewhere will wake up their idea n improve e welfare of farmers ba.. (even thou it's v unlikely) *sigh*

my neighbour juz bot 2 jack russels...
sooo adorable! they keep wagging their tails when i try to communicate w them.. (outside my neighbour's door of cos)
but they keep them in 2 separate cages all day long...
i wonder y... the puppies look so sad...
can tell that they really wan to come out n play...
*sigh* dun understand y they bother to keep dogs when they seem to jus ignore the doggies...

i just finished harry potter book 7!
okioki.. i know i am slow.. but i was waiting patiently for the price of the book to drop.. it finally dropped.. so i saved 30 bucks.. haha..
(in actual fact i saved all 50 bucks cos someone bot for me..*smilez*)
it was nothing like children's fiction...
but it was exciting n an intense read...
ending wasn't wat i expected cos of all e rumours..
haha.. but ya.. i love harry potter series..
so now can only wait for the movies to come out lo... =)

yup.. tat’s all I’ve done..
not a v exciting life…
but I’m happy…=)

e other day jh sms-ed me…
I was wondering if she had sent to e wrong person after reading e 1st two sentences…
But after reading e full sms… I knew it was for me…
I was q touched after reading that msg… =)

we were at this "ang mo" restaurant (rolls eyess at the black shirt manager~) in bishan park... food was gd but the manager had a bad attitude~ n the waitress has bad photography skills which accounted for the bright speck of light beside pj's head...

yup.. the wolf in sheep's clothing is the zhu jiao of the day.. almost all e photos has him.. =P

Next up we went andersen's for desserts at amk hub for present presentation~!

but again we met with lousy service... a ah lian waitress who needs alot of training... n a auntie (senior of the ah lian) who speaks like she is in a kopi tiam...

isn't it basic courtesy to ask someone if they still need the menu before grabbing them away?

wat happened to pls, thank u, sorry, excuse me when they juz ask u "xiaojie, ur how many ppl? can sit 1 table anot?"

n wat's with the "huh, u wan bill ar?" kind of questioning to ur customers when they ask for the bill...

the whole situation was q funnie actually...

even the table beside us were complaining abt the lousy attitudes...

it was basically a bad service day.. haha...

On 17th…

Nua-ed at home n eat mee sua cooked by my mama…
Went out w lou ti later in e day…
Shopped at marina sq trying to look for my sis’s bday prezzie (cos her bday falls on 18th)…
Den I realized I noe wat to give to my sis after a short while…
So we juz walked abt aimlessly instead…
Looking at all e new new gadgets n testing him on his engineering knowledge/perspective…
He is q li hai on all those la.. haha…
After tat we got tired n decided to sit at e merlion area…

Throughout e day he juz refused to tell me where we r having dinner…
Juz say tat we were going for cai fan at republic plaza (where we climbed the 60 storeys)…
So I was still kept in the dark abt where we were going to eat…
As we were walking to the merlion…
We walked past fullerton… n started toking abt the chocolate buffet inside…
He innocently asked me:
if I wanted to eat inside later instead of the cai fan…
the price…
if I noe there’s any other places tat has e choco buffet…

In the end…
He brot me inside fullerton for the choco buffet…

Totally din expect it!
He brot the choco monster to the choco buffet… =)
Totally cheated me.. but in the nicest possible way~ tat I dun mind.. hee~

So we tried the dozen diff types of choco cakes… (some super nice.. some erm.. not my type..)
Fondue… (sour strawberries.. but super sweet pineapples!)
Hot choco drinks… (bitter n sweet at e same time!! oooo~)
Variety wasn’t a lot… but the choco were v yummy!
After awhile can get abit overdose…
so muz eat.. rest.. eat.. rest…

so…
I spent the first min n the last min of my bday w him… =)

1st of all…
Happy bday to my dear sis who is now diving w my jiefu somewhere overseas…

So went out again today but w the pharm gals…
It was abit weird cos we met up separately to buy the various presents…
For eg.
Me, Christina n sh went to get wl’s prezzie…
Wl, adez, hl went to get my present…
The rest of us except adez went to get adez present…
Abit messy esp when it came to $$ collection… haha…
Not easy collecting $$ n writing cards in front of the bday person herself!

It was also a v funnie outing lo…
Cos e bimbo club is established once again… muahah!
Me, adez n yj accidentally wore pinkish stuff today…
N we kept walking n sitting tog, plus our (me n adez.. yj more calm on the outside..) gigglish nature, we got labeled as the bimbos club… haha~
Later when dilys joined us, even thou she wasn’t wearing pink n was trying super hard to act like she’s not one of us… muahah~ she still is lo! Cos she’s the most gigglish of us all!

1st week of work~

My first week at op is definitely tiring de…
Standing all day long…
Stressful packing…
Constant fear of the whoever coming in to ask “who packed this?”…
I tink she dun like us… dunnoe y also… we never offend her leh~
It’s really like a warzone…

Fortunately…
I have a gd pr*c*ptor
And I’m not alone, cos there’s 6 of us tog~
So we can complain to each other… =X
the pharmacists there r all nice ppl…
they r all v willing to let u tag along n learn stuff from them…
even thou they are forever sooo busy n stressed up…
but they r li hai de lo!
one look at the scripts they know wat is going on w the pt… whether there r drug interactions.. which I tink is damn zai~

Happy Bday to me!

Yup it’s my bday today!!!
I’m officially 22 yo~

Yesterday I received prezzies alrdy!
It was q a funnie scene while I was working…
Cos I was attached to retail yest afternoon…
Den while e pharmacist was toking to the customer…
Bx came down to op n he wanted to leave a small paper bag at e door of the retail room for me… which was along a very busy passage way…
At first I din even know it was for me…
so I blurly go out n asked him: “wat’s it for?”
N den he told me: “it’s ur bday tml mar.”
Me: ”orh~~ thx thx!!”
so i brot it to the pantry to keep..
Haha.. sooo blur!! Paiseh...
But it is a pleasant surprise n thx loads!!
Brightened up my working day~ =)

Den at nite I met lou ti for dinner~!
Dinner was pizzahut decided by me!
Cos he said he alrdy decided the dinner for 17th…
We were reminiscing abt our old days in Anderson…
Even thou we r generations apart…
But whoa~ his class is happening de!!
Kept me entertained throughout dinner…
Super funnie incidents… haha…
Stuff tat guai guai ppl like me can never imagine…
They were so notorious tat even ttp gave up on them…

After dinner we went walk walk abit den juz settled down at a new playground near my hse n chatted all e way until 0000… =)

relieved even thou the paper is the worsest of all~

it was bert's bday celebration yesterday...
so we went mof for dinner~
he was terribly late.. so had more than enuff time to deco n write his card..

den keep getting suan-ed by hans e whole nite...

when he came.. we finally can eat!! cos we were starving!

most of the time i will only talk about my elder sister...

i guess that's becos i am not close to him...
sometimes i can say i even dun like him...

cos he can be so inconsiderate...
doesn't switch off lights after he use them...
smokes n smokes n smokes such tat we have to endure the cigarette stench...
doesn't care to give my mom rides to places she needs to go to even thou he is just lazing ard at home...

but it wasn't like this when we were young...
when we were young kids...
he was my playmate...
and we were quite close...
we would play nintendo tog... even play soccer cos he pestered me to...
he will cheat me to go downstairs to buy ice cream from the uncle every afternoon.. and i was willing to go cos he will treat me ice cream...

i can't remember when we drifted apart...
was it when he went to his sec. sch?
when we stopped playing tog?
when he wasn't home when the ice cream uncle came?
when he started to smoke?
really can't rem le...

nowadays we dun talk much to each other...
maybe a line or none when i go home on weekends...
or when he needs help from me...
sad isn't it??

he msn-ed me just now for the 1st time...
i tot he wanted to ask me for some help again...
but he didn't... he just wished me good luck for my exams...
he told me to work hard... told me to jiayou...
i was suddenly overwhelmed by alot of feelings...
i was gan dong-ed even thou it was a simple wishing from him...

Because, even though it is one day further from the last time you saw each other,

it is one day closer to the next time you will…

Today was the last lecture for pk...
and there were 2 guest lecturers toking abt their jobs today instead of just the regular lectures that we have...

I wasn't really paying any attention to them even thou it was said that this lecture would be tested in exam as well...*dunnoe real or fake* =P

anyway... the thing is...
i am starting to get worried for my future...
it looks really bleak lo...
cos i have no idea what i wan to do!

hmmm...
i can say i enjoyed my preceptorship last year...
cos i felt that i could apply what i learnt in class....
and the satisfaction i get from being able to help ppl feels good...
but becoming a retail pharmacist?
hmmm.. i have my reservations...
wat if they juz throw me to some ulu outlet tat nobody comes for the pharmacist? den i do nothing? i will be sooooo sian...
work environment wise also not my ideal type...
another practical consideration is the pay of cos...

i can't say anything abt working in a hospital yet cos have to wait until after this coming hols ba... after attachment...

i know i'm not interested in research...
cos i dun like reading journal research articles...
i dun like to look at the graphs and all the complicated data...
*super bad at those stuff*
which also rules out anything associated with pk.. like clinical trials etc...

sales is really not my cup of tea...
cos i cannot talk! haha..
i mean i'm not good at selling stuff to ppl...
lousy conversational skills...

industry to me is a very vague term...
i'm still not really sure about the various paths in pharm industry...
like wat exactly are they doing?
maybe can find out from yj they all after they complete their attachment...

something totally not related to pharm?
hmmm... it is a possibility but the odds are super low...
not making use of my degree... hmmm...
i dun really see that happening..
unless it's something like starting your own biz which i have no idea and skill for...
i tink it's really quite tough plus u need the capital to begin with...

On sat went out w e girls to celebrate hx’s bday early as requested cos her bday v near to her papers…
We went to this jap restaurant at central which serves delicious ramen!
Yummy! But v v v salty, so had to keep drinking water after tat…
Heard it was recommended by 933… really not bad… =)
Food aside, we also tried to kai dao cch abt her work probs…
She is really a v responsible worker!!
So 尽责 until so felt so miserable abt it…
I tink it shld be resolved by now? Hope it was a happy ending!
So to distract her from her work stuff…
we kept crapping… making up nicknames for ppl…Gossiping… haha… =P

april's fool day was a test day for me...
1 test down.. 2 more to go... =X

sh sent me a april's fool sms yesterday...
she said she initially wanted to trick me.. but didn't..
haha... tink i mite have fallen for e trick as well..
so lucky she din wan to trick me.. =P

so i sent it to 3 ppl..
1st person fell for e trick n called me...
i tink partly cos it was cos of some factors tat caused him to be so jing zhang abt e sms.. =X (shldn't have sent it to him actualli.. sorry...)
when he realised he had been tricked...
he tricked me bac.. haha..
i tink i'm too ben ben to trick ppl lo...

On Thursday I went out for lunch with Hans...
We went to some apparently famous yu pian mi fen at some west coast kopitiam…
It was really not bad…but I wasn’t hungry…
So he had most of the huge bowl of mi fen… =P
And we toked over lunch about some stuff that I got to know of…
Which is q a headache n a difficult thing to settle…
Basically the conclusion to the conversation was no conclusion…
Yup… so mr hans… u go n fan xing fan xing.. hehe.. =P

Friday was e ‘ta-da!’ day…
Essentially the ta-da part was at nite la…

I am normal de! =) saved myself $30.. haha…
n becos e bld glucose meter dunnoe had wat prob w me, I had to prick n reprick my finger twice before I could get an error-free results.. which show tat I’m normal too.. =) healthy!!

可能是我想得太多了。

其实我蛮害怕的。

My good Friday was spent with my 2 different grps of frens…

Yup... i have been v blur lately... =X
first of all...
i left my clothes at ucc after my amplitude performance..
n i din even realise it long after i reach my room n did alot of other stuff...
had to trouble ppl to help me bring bac... =X
thx loads to those involved! haha..

the performance turned out q oki i guess..
after singing e pasigin song over n over n over again before our our performance.. we finally rem most of e lyrics.. n managed to catch e rite key.. even thou there was a minor prob at e v beginning.. but luckily we had a perfect pitch in our choir.. he is li hai!!
=P anyway... so happy it is all over!!!
ohoh.. n i realised tat i am not as fu qian as i tot.. haha.. =P

nxt blur was mon...
i forgot to bring my qian bao to sch...
cos i changed bag.. so i forgot to transfer over..
aiz.. how forgetful can i get...
but luckily i stuffed $$ everywhere..
so i realised i still have $5 in my hp pouch..
so i was saved... =)

when i juz scalded my right hand...
ya.. all my fingers...
while i was trying to prepare my ovaltine drink..
cos e dinner was v nan chi...
e boiling hot water juz spill all over my hand.. =(
so very very painful...
soaked my hand in dunnoe how many cups of cold water...
den finally realised i have e wan neng mopiko which can be applied for burns too!! =) so i applied tat n e pain subsided after tat...
leaving e slight swelling which has by now disappeared..
so my poor hand is now bac to normal.. =)

e storyline realli was abit too rushed..
so i find tat it's not tat nice a show lo...
den we has ichican boshi for dinner..

muggerish day w gor at wl nlb..

good leh... but of cos there were breaks in betwn...

he treated me to waffles w icecream!!
haha.. but it was free de also la...
some voucher tat he has tat entitles him to a free waffle w icecream...

yesterday nite i finally got to noe who my angel is...
haha.. e coordinator of e game was my angel~
it was rather awkward when he handed me e choco..
cos it was so sudden...
i din noe wat to say to him!

tonite well...
din bazaar duty from 6 to 12am...
juz to earn pts... haha...
all e pharm ppl in the same slot... desparate for pts alrdy.. =P

after tat it was hard to conc on my notes...
kept losing focus n wasn't in e mood also..

E wonderful, carefree 4 days worth of nua-ing, stuffing myself w cny goodies n gaining hongbaos tat I was soooo looking forward to passed by in a breeze…

unexpectedly...
i went out w gor at nite..
he smsed n said he was v v sian...
asked if wanted to go out or something...

i tink i was realli v nice lo..
cos i treated!! hahah...

we were so full we went walk walk ard cold storage like aunties...

wednesday was a dayful of activities...
mornng i went out w ylp to marina kbox~
afternoon was spent shopping w her...

evening was spent toking to johnson...

thurs... most sad thing was i lost my blue 500ml nalgene bottle...
it's alrdy q a old n chui bottle...
e wordings r like fading off alrdy..
but i still feel abit sad losing it...
even thou i alrdy got my new hot pink cyclone bottle to replace...
cos it's my 20th bday present from frens lo...
so there's a significance to it mar...
i dun even noe how it got lost...
i dun tink i rem seeing it after i come out from lab alrdy..
cos if not i would have taken it w me le...
but well.. nvm la.. i cant do anything also rite...

fri was hall play day!!
met up w cot for dinner...
finally ate e steamboat at arts... =)

cos last time we din c e ending...
n jiefu's colleague happened to be tph's sister...
so he borrowed e dvd which tph's father recorded faithfully everynite...
so tat we can watch e finale... haha...
